I am a legal permanent resident here in the US and I am engaged to my girlfriend in the Philippines. I can't file for US Citizenship until May 2008, so I would like to know, which would be the quickest way for us to get married and get my fiancee to the US? Should we go and get married in the Philippines as soon as possible and then file for an imigrant visa or will it be faster and easier to wait until I can apply for Citizenship and then apply for a K1 Visa?
