485 denied. priority date question

Does filing for greencard thru marriage to US CITIZEN have any priority dates? I thought it was always current.

i just got denial letter for 485 saying that priority date is not current.

Yes, visas are immediately available for the spouses of US citizens, they probably made a mistake or there is something else going on...
