  • Questions about Permanent residence and divorce

I have been married to my husband for 41/2 years. I received my green card based on my marriage to him. I have been a US resident since May 2003, and my current Permanent Resident Card expires in 2015.
We are currently going through a divorce.
How is this affecting my green card? Am I going to loose it? Do I have to notify the INS that I am getting a divorce?

No, you are not going to loose it. You don't have conditional green card as you already got the conditions removed. (I am assuming this because it has 10 years validity, and not 2 years.)
