H1 to GC with marraige to citizen

I am married to a US citizen since 2005. Currently, I am on H1B (4th yr. on this) and was wondering if I can file for GC and adjustment of status, only thing being we got married in India (indian marraige certificate available).
Do I need an American marraige certificate to file for GC here? What are the document requirements? We have a 8 month old son too. Is his birth certificate a supporting document?
I'll appreciate if someone can shed some light on this subject.

Yes you can apply for GC now, no you do not need US marriage certificate
