  • please i need help soo much

    Dear Sirs,

I am writing to ask for your help, i have contacted Home Office and disgusted with the 'non' communication i have not recieved from them.
I am an 18 year old female and i have a partner who i have been with for 4 years and lived with for the past 2 years - and i really truly honestly love him!
No one from my own country wants to help me - and i dont understand Why as a British Citizen in this country I cannot have what is righfully mine?!
I do hope the person reading this has a heart and could maybe put their self in the situation that i find myself in right now.

Let me tell you a little bit about what has happened...

In all the years i have been with my partner he has been arrested 4 times, and not for actually commiting an offence, it was for actually not having the correct documents to be in this country, yes it was wrong for him to not have the correct travel documents and i did have my say about it, but what can i do now that i am so deeply in love with this person?! I cant just leave him like that stuck in a detention centre, waiting to be removed from the country and then if he does and when he does he may be killed in his home country.
No matter what happens either way we will always be together, but going through all this pain and wasting all this time of our lifes together - all we want to do is be together.

What i am saying is my partner has been taken away from me, he has been arrested for immigration reasons. He has a flight booked for the 14th February (valentines day) and i so badly want to stop this otherwise it means wasting a whole long time and putting his life in danger - he is currently in a a detention camp! I have never spent a night away from him unitl this and it is really hurting me so much! I love him as i have already said and want him back home with be - where he belongs!

If he does get sent back to Sri Lanka i will never forgive this country for what they have put us both through!

I hope that you can understand where i am coming from - and hope that i will get a response in any way

    Yours Sincerley

This is probably not what you want to hear but it sounds like your boyfriend DID commit an offense...he was in the country illegally. I am an immigrant myself and I consider myself a guest in this country, subject to ALL the laws of the land, not just the ones I like. The only things I consider rightfully mine are my personal effects, my property, and the money I have in savings.

If your boyfriend will be truly subjected to harm if he returns to his home country, then he may want to consider asylum. I'm not familiar with the process...you may need a good immigration lawyer.

All the best to the both of you.
