Dear Sir/Madam,
I recently got married to a US citizen. And my marriage certificate were issued Indian Muslim Personal Law. Therefore I hold a Nikahnama. Me and my Husband went to US embassy right after marriage and they suggested that my Husband should stay in India for 90 days and then apply for spouse visa. I have few specific questions.
1) Is the nikahnama (with English translation) issued by the qazi valid or we need any other document issued by the court?
2) What visa forms am I going to need?
3)after completion of 90 days in India and after applying for spouse visa what is the tentative time it will take me to get the visa?
4)What documents we should have ready other than the documents listed in the visa application just in case?
please reply back and if more question please ask us . Your immediate response will be appreciated.
