Kids Under 21 of Green Card Holder
Hello,
I am a GC holder ( filed N-400 for citizenship ) and filed I-130 for my wife in 2004. We have two kids now 3 and 1 year old. I sent a letter to NVC (now case is at NVC) and asked them to add both my kids to my wife's petition. I did get a letter back from NVC informing me that they have added both my kids to the original I-130 petition.
I called NVC last week to check the status of petition. NVC person did tell me that both my kids are included in the I-130, however she mentioned that I have to file separate I-130 for each kid ( one for each kid ). When I asked her even if my kids are under 21? She said yes, and foreign consulate will only issue one Immig. Visa per I-130.
Is that True? I thought all kids under 21 are included with parent's petition.
