My mother is with us on visitor’s visa and I am planning to apply GC her under family based quota.
My birth certificate has my mother’s married name and her passport has her maiden name. Since she entered in US using her maiden name, filled I-94 etc.,
I have couple of questions to file her GC.
1. In I-130, Section C Information about your relative:
What am I suppose to fill here? Name from the Passport or Birth Certificate
If I fill the name (C.1) from the Passport,
Can I fill birth certificate name under other names used (C.8) section.
2. Can I get Birth Certificate affidavit from her elder brother and aunt?
3. Do I need to get birth certificate verification letter from her town municipality?
Any information on this matter is greatly appreciated.
