i wanted to ask that my online status of I-130 is still pending
its almost 6 months now
filed from vermont centre
what should be my next step
till my application case starts getting accept so as to save time
is there something called as k-3 filing ?

Hello Mala

Make sure you mailed your I-130 Petition to the right address. It depends upon your location. I am from CA and mailed to the local center in Languna Niguel. I got my I-130 approved in less than 3 months. Did you get the Receipt of Notice (I-797C) once you submitted your petition. If not there is a problem. You can call or email to see what is the status of your petition. Typically it should be less than 6 months. Also what is your status. Are you a US Citizen. There is online location where you can check your status once you receive your Receipt Number (from the I-797C).
