Vermont center received I-130 on 5.9.06 filed by an USC Citizen for his mother with a receipt no.

It appears that Vermont center is currently processing such applications with receipt nos dated 12.3.06.

Can any one tell me , how long it may take to get the application of the mother approved !

Yes, it will take about a year plus consular processing time if your parents are at home country.
