Question about I 130 form, section 20

Hi all,
In the form I130, in Section C, item #15:

"Name and address of current employer"

Question: Is this my employer or the beneficiary's employer ?

Section C, item #17:

List husband/wife of your relative

Question: This will include my name here? (since I am the husband filing for I130) ?

Can any1 pls clarify ? Thx !!

Section C is 'Information about your relative' so should include the information about your Alien Relative, not you (the USC petitioner). If they work, put their employer name in Question 15.

As far as Question 17 goes, we don't have any children so we just put the name of the Alien Relative and their relationship to the USC petitioner. We interpreted this question as list your husband or wife (and also) list any children of your alien relative.

Haven't had any RFEs back from the USCIS yet.

You may be able to find some sample completed I-130's elsewhere on this website so it may be worth searching for it.

My Bad on Question 17

Hi

Gave you some bad advice on how to answer Q 17. It should be the US Citizen's (petitioner's) name and relationship along with any children of the Alien Relative (beneficiary)
