  • Timing of communication from USCIS

Hi, I've a question regarding a recent I-130/I-485 and I-765 that we filed a month ago. When I look at various timelines at the various USCIS offices it seems that the Fingerprint notice and appointment is arranged quite promptly normally within a month of filing however in our case, we've heard nothing other than the I-797C receipt notices.

04/2005 Marriage USC and H1B holder (UK Citizen)
02/16/07 I-130/I-485 and I-765 mailed to Chicago Lockbox w 2005 Joint Tax return, copies of titles for jointly owned vehicles, property tax bill for jointly owned house and lots of pics together from 1999 onwards (!). Some docs like the vehicle title show my USC spouse's former last name as we've owned them since before we got married and just never got around to changing them.
    02/19/07 Receipt date
02/26/07 I-797C Notice dates from MSC
03/11/07 Last date of activity on I-130 & I-765 per USCIS online status

We did realise that we failed to include the I-864W in the I-485 package and we sent this one day later under separate cover referencing the I-130/I-485/I-765 to the Chicago lockbox on 02/17/07. This may explain the activity from March 11th when the I-864W may have caught up with our original mailing. The status of each shows as pending with the exception of the I-485 that confirms the fingerprint fee has been received.

Looking at other recent posts from the applications in the Los Angeles area, some have been married for much less time and seem to be being processed more promptly. Any suggestions?
