Here is my story, I recently applied for adjustment of status ( i am married to U S citizen) i have so far received my notice of receipt and Biometrics appointment. However on the applications i hyphenate my name and my husband name for example my last name is Smith and his last name his Bailey, i wrote for last name Smith-Bailey. Now am trying to change my Drives License and the DMV request a copy of the marriage application to see if i had requested to have it hyphenate but is shows that we only had his last name only to be used and they will ony be able to issue an ID with his last name only. My questions are
1. What options do i have now that i have submitted the documents with the hyphenated name and now DMV cant issue an ID with both names.
Thank you in advance. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
