  • Medical Examinations

I’ve just married and I am applying for the green card. I fill up the applications ( I-485, 213A, I-130, I-765,I-864.
I need to know if I have to submit the medical examinations I-693 with all documents at the same time
    Thanks

I strongly suggest You send i-693 unless you cannot find a Doctor immediately.
even if you submit it, you will still be asked to bring a COPY of it at your interview.

So make sure you copy every form, every page at least 2 sets as your backup.

    good luck.

I don't think a "copy" of the I-693 is possible. The examination is supposed to be submitted in an envelope sealed by the physician.

what i meant is that to ensure you get a copy of i-693. The doctor gave me a sealed envelope and copy of i-693.

Should the I-693 (medical exam) be submitted right away as soon as you obtain it or wait until the interview (or asked for it)?

          Thanks.

It should be sent along with the I-485. If you did not send it, then they will ask for it with an RFI (request for initial evidence) and you should send it then... do NOT wait until the interview.

              Thanks for your prompt reply.

Shouldn't I send it even before getting an RFI?? I have the receipt confirming that they initiated the process, so I was thinking that I should send it to the same place where I sent the I-485 along with a copy of the receipt.
              What do you suggest?

No. Wait for the RFI, it is the only way to make sure they will file it properly (as you send it back with the RFI letter which has a bar code in it and they need to scan that!).
