Hello,
I am a US Citizen and I am sponsoring my mother for her Green Card. She came to US on March 27, 2007 and her I-94 expires on May 26, 2007.
I have changed my last name after becoming US Citizen. My previous last name is now my middle name.
I have applied for my US Passport in Feb, 2007. I have sent my "Name Change court order" document also along with the Passport application.
My passport processing status says my application is received and is being processed.
For applying I-130, I don't have the Name Change court order document. Is it sufficient if I just send my Naturalization Certificate (or) do I need to send the Name Change Court Order also along with I-130? The instruction says to send the Name Change court order though.
Please help me!!! I need to file my mother's green card ASAP since she got only 2 months stamping in her I-94.
THANK YOU for all the helpful information in this forum!!
