Domestic Travel while waiting for AOS

hi,
Could anyone please tell me if there are any USA domestic travel restrictions for a person who is waiting for AOS (adjustment of status)? The exact scenario is my european-born spouse who originally came via VWP (visa waiver prog.) and is presently waiting for formal AOS (all paperwork submitted). Currently the period of the waiver is expired, but not before application was received.
I know travel abroad could jeopardize current status, I was curious if legally he could fly within the USA. Thanks in advance.

Let me clarify: Im referring to boarding a plane via domestic flight, with foreign passport and pending legal status, (expired !-94). ??? Still no restrictions ??

Pending status IS a legal status in the US and therefore no restrictions. I knew what you were asking the first time around

Domestic travel withing the U.S.A. while awaiting AOS

I have the same issue. I was married to my wife in Nov. 2006 and we have filed all paper work, but she is still waiting AOS, EAD, etc. She is pending, so it sounds like we can travel within the U.S.A. What identification would she need...just her foreign passport? Would we also need a copy of our marriage license or the Notice of Action forms stating that her status is pending? Thanks for your help.

I would bring a notice of action, but generally her foreign passport should be sufficient
