  • help, visa thru marriage

ok, so im an Irish guy in LA on a visa wiaver since April, i've recently married my American girlfriend and am about to get the paperwork underway, we are planning on taking care of it ourselves and i'm just looking for somebody to tell me i have the right forms.
    I have forms
    I-130
    G-325 A and B
    I-485
    I-765
    I-693
    DS-230

I would be grateful for any advice poeple might have about this process and i was wondering about leaving the country once the process has begun as my girl and I are planning on going to Scotland and Ireland next month to visit family.

Again any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

if your I-94 expires while you're out of the USA, you won't be allowed back in, and you will be subjected to a possible 3-10 year ban from re-entering the USA. My suggestion is to stay in the USA if you are trying to adjust your status via marriage and on a visa waiver, until you have a greencard.

my I-94 is an I-94W (the waiver), when anybody leaves the country on this it is taken at the point of departure as a record of leaving the country. I get one everytime i come into the country and they take it everytime i leave.

The questions i really need answered are
If i get the process under way and i leave the country for a vacation will it affect my application in anyway?

        If so,
Do you think it would be wise not to start the process until i get back from Europe?

        Anybody help?
