Help me understand - I-130 processing?

I am looking into I-130 processing times and it says for Parents they are doing Nov 2006. That is about 9 months.

For Parents in India doing CP, how much more time I should add to this 9 months? After I-130, NVC will send info to consulate in India and then is there wait period as well once NVC sends info to Consulate in India?

If anyone already applied for your parents for CP (no AOS), can you please let me know on the time line for parents GC.

Otherwise, it looks like one can get parents GC in 1 year time frame? Am I dreaming ?

Hi, I have not done it but I know it is done in less than a year for CP, if all your docs are in order.

Thanks a lot Peace for your information. This info will help me a lot in deciding if I need to apply for my mother or not.

Actually we are in processing of doing R2I after 1 yr and but can have my mom for few more months here if we extend our R2I plans for few more months.
