need help and advices

I just married a GreenCard holder and i still have my working visa. He is expecting his visa to come out in 2009. Is it advisable for him to petition me as a greencard as early as now? Or should we just waittill his USC comes out? What forms should i need? Any advices that anyone can give me or how should i do it? And when His Citizenship comes out what should i do to my Greencard petition if it is not yet approve? Hope i recieve some help. Thanks

He can petition now and when he become a USC , he has to give a call to USCIS to upgrade the petition.

Senator Hillary clinton is pushing to remove wait for spouses of gc holders.
It may or may not pass , The bill is in the senate. Watch out for it.
