  • Birth Certificate for Parent's and Sister's Green Card

    Hi,
I am US Citizen. My parents arrived today on visitor visa. And my sister is in USA on H4 visa b'cos her husband is on H1 visa [his labor and I-140 is cleared but waiting for 485 filing which might take another 1 year].

I want sponsor green card for my parents and my sister now.
I am going to file I-130 and 485 simultaneously for my parents b'cos they are in USA on visitor visa.
And I am also going to file I-130 for my sister.

I need to submit my Birth certificate, my sister's Birth certificate for her I-130 and my parent's birth certificate (for I-130 and I-485)

I have a following question on Birth certificate to apply for their green card:
My Birth certificate and my sister's Birth certificate issued in Mumbai [INDIA] shows our father's FULL NAME as "MAHESHKUMAR Utpal Khanna".

My USA citizen certificate and USA passport shows my name as "Raj MAHESH Khanna."

My father's Birth certificate shows his FIRST name as "MAHESH Utpal Khanna"

    Question:
1.> Does difference in father's FIRST NAME as mentioned above as "MAHESH" and "MAHESHKUMAR" creates any problem for my parent's as well as my sister's Green card sponsorship?

2.> I have made new Birth certificate from Indian consulate in San Fransisco based on my Indian Passport and it shows CORRECT NAME of father as "MAHESH UTPAL KHANNA"

So to sponser my parents and sister, can I use this new Birth Certificate issued from Indian consulate in San Fransisco which shows correct FIRST NAME of my FATHER?

Is Birth Certificate Issued by Indian Consulate in San Francisco valid to sponsor family based green card?

    Thanks
