Interview OK, I-130 approved, I-485 pending security check

Hello.

We had our AOS interview yesterday (June 14) in Boston and everything went well. I-130 was approved there but DHS officer noted that I-485 cannot be approved becuase one of the security checks is pending.

Is anyone else in this position? Is there anything that I can do? My H1-B expires at the end of the year and I'm concerned about how long this could take. Any recommendations/suggestions or recent experiences are much appreciated.
