    Best option for GC

    I am retired staying in India with wife. My son is citizen in the US. I intend to immigrate to US with my wife to stay with my son. Please advice on the best option in terms of time and less hassles :-
    1) Both of us visit US on visitors visa, continue to stay there and ask my son to apply for GC.
    2) We stay here in India while my son applies for us in the US and we move to US after GC.
