    Out of Status Green Card

    I have a situation where my mother who was a permanent citizen, has been out of the country for about 11 years. I wanted to see what would be be the best course of action?

    1. to re-activate her permanent resident status?

    2. Apply for a visitor visa? (One of her application for this visa was rejected last year)

    I would appreciate any feedback on this issue
