Need help with Follow to join for my wife

I need some insight regarding Follow-to-join process.

I applied for Consular Processing (Employment Category) for myself and wife on Oct 06. Later I changed my application to AOS (I485) but I couldn't change my wife's application since she is out of US. I recieved my PR 2 months ago but her I824 still pending. Since then I have been trying to find out how follow-to-join process works.

Do I need to file new I824 or the old filing will work? Everytime I call at TSC, I get different information. Once they even told me that the Consular Office (where my wife resides) was notified which came out false after contacting Consular office. What are my options? I would appreciate if anybody gone through same procedure....

just mail all ur documents prooving that u r a gc holder in usa and , notary attested copies of u r card and i 140 , and u r i 824 reciept , no need to wait for approval , to your us consulate where u r wife intend to do consular processing, once they have all u r informations, they will give her interview date in consulate,good luck

I emailed U.S. Consular Office in Nepal and they said I-824 needs to be approved. Do all the Consular office process with only I-824 receipt?

Someone mentioned to me to go Visa Omega Cable route. I just don't know what to do. I was hoping there could be people here who have gone thru this. Thanks again
