I am really confused. I have completed petition for 3 bothers (all at the same time), but when I got to the part 5 of the Affidavit of support "Sponsor's Household Size", the instruction said: “Include only those persons who have already immigrated to the United States (this is to complete the part 5 - 21f)”, if I do not list any persons on there the total household will be 3 (my brother, my husband and I), but how about my other two brothers? It would not reflect that my household will be 5 once they come here. Should I indicate in that field my 2 brothers? Please help me! I need to send these documents before July 30, 2007. Thank you for any advice.

Hi:

No. You don't have to list and count your other 2 brothers on the I-864. Only those people should be counted who have ALREADY IMMIGRATED TO THE US and are leaving with you or whom you have previously signed as guarantor for and are here in US! Since, none of your brothers have got a green card yet and are not here in US based on that, you should ONLY be counting 1 as dependent in each of the applications. And yes, this will make your household size 3(for your case only) for each petiotion I-864 form.
