IV questions urgent: PCC and Medical

Hi,

My mom's I130 has been approved and am preparing for the interview. I have two urgent questions:

1. PCC. If my MOm has lived in different states/areas of India during her life, do I have to get PCC from each of those districts or one PCC from teh local (current resident city) Passport office and a local police station is sufficient. Passport was issued a few years ago.

2. Can I already her complete the medical test and examination (I read that this is valid for 1 year), before getting the interview package.

3. Widower. If she is a widower, does she need to submit marriage certificate?

I would appreciate any help.

I have not seen any replies and am requesting anyone with knowledge or personal experience to respond. Otherwise I might have to hire a lawyer to ensure that understand the requirements clearly. Plz help.

Hi,

You can get the PCC from the Local police station... it takes 8 days to get..... and you have to get it from the passport office from where it was issued... that too takes 8 days to process... and yes you can get the medical test done from the listed hospitals on usconulate websites of India
