  • Green card holder married a overstayed visa holder

I am a green card holder and I got married in the US with a B2 overstayed visa holder.

I will apply for my citizenship in 2 years. I am planning on wait until them to apply for my husband adjustment of status.

Is it going to be any problem when I apply for my naturalization the fact I am married to a B2 overstayed visa holder?
Are they going to ask about him? what should i do?

I just got my Citizenship about a month ago and now waiting for my Passport. Don't worry about your naturalization since they are only interested in you and not your spouse.

Now we are working on petitioning my wife (change of status).

By the way, i checked Others and typed "Will apply for change of Status" on

Hope that will help you out.
