My mom's sister sponsored my mom's and my GC in the 1990s. We received it a few days after my 21st bday in 2005 (so, I aged out).
My mom received her GC. She has now sponsored me...the i-130 is pending and seems like it will take several years. (family category 4a)
I am on a F1 visa in the US (obtained before my mom sponsored my GC) and it expired, but I have a valid i-20 till 2010. So, I'm legally allowed to be here and finish my studies.
i want to be able to go back home to visit,
But I cannot reapply for a f1 visa (non-immigrant) when I have an immigrant visa pending...right?
Please help...what do I do..
