I-130 approved (F 4)

My brother (US Citizen) submiited I-130 for me & my husband + 2 children to Vermont Service Center on 20th Oct'06.

My birth was not earlier registered. I got it registered with City Corporation only in August 06 which was submitted with the I-130 application

VSC acknowledged the petition on 30th Oct'06.

On 5th May 07, VSC asked for additional evidence that establishes my relationship with my brother as they were not satisfied with my birth certificate recently registered.

On 12th June , additional evidences such as , School leaving Certificate, parents affidavits etc were submitted.

On 10th Aug' VSC has approved the petition.

It appears from the website that VSC is now processing F4 applications with receipt no Feb,5,2001, while they approved my application with receipt no 30th Oct.2006.

I am now interested to know what happens next to my application & howlong it may take to get consular processing at Dhaka, Bangladesh ?

Any feed back from the senior members will be highly appreciated.

You need to look at the visa bulletin from the link above. VSC only tells you about the petiton processing but The visa bulletin tells you the final visa cutoff date for each category. THe date for F4 category as per
the aug 07 bulletin relevant for all countries except india, china , phillip, and mexico is Nov 1 1996 which means visa numbers are available at present for petitions filed on or before that date.

So , you can imagine it will take about 11 years for your visa number to arrive
at dhaka.
