worried...filed since July 19, 2007 & no response

i'm looking for anyone who has received receipt notice for applications received in july. we mailed out our application on july 13 and it was received on july 19 by Chicago lockbox facility.

i'm hearing some people who have mailed their apps around the same time have already been fingerprinted. what if we missed the FP date? will uscis give us another chance since we have yet to be informed of anything. share your experiences pls. thanks,

Fingerprint

I sent my application on july 18 and it was received on july 19 by Chicago lockbox facility.
I received fingerprints letter on August 3 ang I have been fingerprinted on August 17.

where did u get ur prints done?

Thank you for your response. we filed concurrently 130 and 485 and still waiting. honestly, after hearing from you, i feel more worried that maybe ours got lost in the mail cuz we are way out in the pacific ocean.

wish us luck as we wait a few more days, then i'm going to call the hotline. overall, its been more than 30 days already since they received our applications july 19th. thanks for sharing!

I filed for my mother on July 18th, got FP notice on Aug 8th, FP was done on Aug 18th, then got receipts for I-130, I-485 and I-131 on Aug 30th.

All USCIS centers are experiensing a backlog. My application was received by them on July 30, 2007 (according to receipt from USPS) and I have not heard from them, even the check has not cleared in the bank. Here is the press release from USCIS
