Birth of baby of green card holders outside of USA

What will be the status of baby born to green card holders, outside the United states?

Will the new born get green card?

Can u please clarify?

Baby will get green card only if mother carries the baby when mother is traveling to US for the first time and baby is still less than 2 years old.
