Dear sir/madam,
My approved petition is with category (F2B), and my case turned current in 2004. Unfortunately my mother (original petitioner, permanent immigrant) had died just one year before that.
I submitted all necessary document, and in the meantime requested to
substitute petitioner to my father who is also Green Card holder.
Since then, I have not received any feedback, neither from NVC, nor from
Texas Center.
Should I send a follow up letter to them, Texas Center ?
What documents I might had failed to send, that they have kept my case
pending ?
(I send affidavit of support, letter of my father (request for being new petitioner) and completed forms, but DID NOT send "Original approval, form I-797", however I have it available).
