Follow-to Join Benefits for Spouse of GC

HI,

Can anyone kindly tell me, if my GC holder husband can apply for me, the H1B holder, on basis of Follow-to Join Benefit Spouse which means no I-130 filing resulting in no waiting for the visa number availability. OR I-485 and I-130 needs to be filed which can take multiple years while waiting for visa number availibility, right?

Please help!

If the marriage took place before the I-485 approval then you can follow-to-join, but it has to be within 6 months of GC approval. If the marriage took place later then it will the long process. But since you are maintaining H1 at least you will not be separated.
