legal status for Illigal wife of US Citizen

Hello Everyone
i need some help.
I got married about 5 month ago .My Wife came in US with work visa and never left,but now since we are married i would like to do everything so that she can work ligally and go in an dout of the country.We do not really care if she gets the Green Card Right away,but mainly those few things(permission to work and go in & out of the country as she please).
Does anyone know the forms we will need and mainly how long will it take to get all those papers.

You need to provide more information. What type of visa are you talking about exactly? When did she come to the US? when did her status expire?

Check her passport for the visa and I-94 and share the info with us.
