i applied for citizenship in 1998, i went through the whole process, passesd the test, had the interview and was told i would receive my oath ceremony papers soon.
i never did.
and then i forgot about it since ihave a green card and i work and pay taxes and don;t really have a fear of losing status since i don't break the law ever!
now i would like to become a US citizen and VOTE! i don't have a recipt number and all the proof i had that i applied seem to have been lost.
can they reopne my case, how do i go about that? I ONLY HAVE THE OATH LEFT! can someone help me?????
