Sample format of affidavit for parents marriage certificate

I understand that one needs parents marriage certificate in for sponsoring them for GC. They do not have a marriage certificate

Can an affidavit be submitted in lieu of marriage certificate ? If so, is there a sample format available ?

That I was married on 18.05.1979 at Ahmedabad , Gujarat , India according to HINDU rites .Please Provide Marraige certificate for citizen
