I got married recently and will be filing for Adjustment of Status soon. My first question is:
1. My wife (US Citizen) had lost her taxes info for the past threee years. She went to IRS local office and requested for a transcript and she got a print out of her taxes info for the past three years, is this enough evidence? She can submit a form to obtain all copies (including w-2 and tax return) but will take 60 days.
2. My wife lost her Naturalization Certificate, is copy of US Passport enough to prove her citizenship? There is a section on the application where she has to fill in her Certificate no. , does it mean a copy of the Naturalization Certificate a MUST?
Thanks in advance
Eric
