Im in the process for filing for adjust. of status (my wife is a USC).
she is still in college and i recently graduated and havent found a job yet (so you can imagine my $$$ is bad) she has not filed for taxes since she was until recently a dependent on her parents.
my questions-
1-Will I need a co-sponsor or is there a way around this?
2-Will it be a problem to get my permanent residency because i dont have a job ? i.e do you think INS will be very anal about the fact that i dont have a job?
any response will be greatly appreciated!!!
(if i had money to consult a lawyer, i wouldnt ask to waste your time)
