During interview....

during the interview everything went smooth and the oficer told us that my husband's temporary green card was approved and that he was going to receive the notification in about 2 weeks and 2 weeks after that notification he was going to get his temporary gren card. However, the officer did not stamp my husband's passport? is that ok? does that mean anything? should we go back and get it stamped?
any one has any clue of what to do?

it is ok. nowadays they hardly ever stamp passports. if he is in a rush to start working/apply for ssn/drivers license/etc. Then he can make an infopass and request the passport to be stamped.
