Biometrics Rescheduling

I just received (10/29) my ASC appointment notice for biometrics and I'm scheduled for Nov. 24th which is thanksgiving weekend . I already made plans to travel (within the US) to visit my wife's family during that time.

I could change my plane ticket but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with rescheduling their biometrics appointment and how long it took to get a new appointment notice?? Also, i've read that sometimes the ASC accepts walkins. Is this true?? (I am going to the Atlanta ASC). Any help is much appreciated!!

It is better to change your travel plans, plane tickets etc. than to change your fingerprint appointment. Your case could be delayed 6 months or more.

Bio Metrics are not that critical. You can walk in explain your situation, go early in the morning, most of the time they will accomodate you.
This is a private agency, just 5 minutes job.
Try your luck and right now, do not wait until your date comes.
