Should i include the H1 transfer receipt i797C in my i-485 and i-765 package? I havent got the approval yet but i m working on the 1st day I receive the h1b receipt.

I m actually gona file my GC through my husband, I hope it wont affect my application. My previous h1b visa is good till 2009, i hope i m stil in legal status. Please advice!!!

Today, i checked my status it showed RFE notice was sent out.I m not sure what they requesting, I have all my documentation sent to my employer,just need to wait and see.

but i already start working on the day i got my receipt for H1b transfer.

You are in legal status do not worry. Wait to see what they ask for in the RFE. And submit it. Always copies of documents unless the original is requested.

Do the instructions ask for it? if not, then no. Unless you are using it in lieu of proof of your legal status/entry to the US.

I-765 requirement

The instructions just ask for the following for I-765:
2 Passport photographs
Form I-765: Application for Employment Authorization
Photocopy of I-94, front and back as evidence of current status
Previous EAD cards
I added the following Additional supporting documentation to show legal status:
Photocopy of passport information page and <H1>visa page as evidence of current status
Photocopy of I-20s and F1 visa as evidence of previous legal status

Since i m not gona apply for the I-131, So i dont need to include my H1 transfer receipt right? since my h1 visa page is good through 2009.
