I got my green card on year 2000
my husband is Canadian citizen.
I got my Canadian citizenship on 2002
my son is 5 years old , born in Canada ,and he is Canadian citizen
all my family live in us and almost all of them are American citizen(my mom ,my brothers,....)
because of my husband parents ,and their love for my child and their influence ,I had no choice but to be in Canada most of the period of time.
few days ago ,me and my son, tried to visit my parents in state .
unfortunately,immigration in the airport did not let us go because of my child.
they said I can go but not my son because he is Canadian citizen and I am a green card holder.
I am very upset about this decision,I would like to know why there is no law for a child this age
I would like to take my son to state .my father has a cancer and he would like to see my son and he can not travel himself.
please let me know if you can show me the way to do that or, if my mom can be his guardian?
