I hate to rain on your parade, but this IS a problem... and it should not be taken lightly...
You technically LIED, when you stated that you were married (when in fact you were not). And that may have had an impact on you receiving your visa...
example: If I was an Visa Officer, I would be more likely to give a visa to a married man (whose wife is not traveling with him) than a single man.
So, you need to find a lawyer, and get counsel from him/her on this. Once you file for AOS (i-485 + i-130) and declare yourself as married, you will probably receive a letter from USCIS asking for a copy of your previous marriage's divorce certificate (which you do not have, because it never existed) and then... you are in quite a predicament. Because either you produce a **** certificate of divorce (which is fraud) or you will be accused of lying to USCIS to obtain an immigration benefit. And that brings a ban for life.
And YES, USCIS will find out about what you put in your visa application. They have access to all of that information, specially since they will do a Fingerprint and Name background check with several databases, including the FBI.

Those "Departments" share data. Specially when giving someone a Green Card. They have access to what you said and your visa has more information encoded into it and assigned to it than just what you see printed on it.
It may or may not make a difference about the wedding/interview being changed. But, it seems like you will have to solve it at the interview.Disclaimer: The information you obtain from me at this forum is not, nor is it intended to be, legal advice.
