I have few questions,..im marrying my beautyfull girlfriend who lives in other state than i,so i was wondering what is going to happen for my green card process?is that gonna be a big problem that she isn't in the same state as i?
I would really appreciatte if someone cloud advice me about this situation.

Well, to start with, if you two are getting married you should live in the same state. It is not necessary for fiancees to live together, but it is a very strong point for married couples to live in the same house.

Otherwise, you will have to prove that you see each other often and that there are plans (in the near future) to live together.

It is going to be hard to prove a real marriage, if you two do not live together once you are married.

thank you very much PraetorianXI,..one friend asked me if to asked you one question in his behalf:he is younger guy 23,but he is marrying older woman,she is like 15 years older,is taht gonna be the problem for getting GC?,and how long does it take to get permittion to work legally? thank you PraetorianXI!!!

It won't necessarily be a problem, but they will have to prove that they are a true marriage (not for immigration purposes).

It takes 60-90 days from the date USCIS receives your application to get a work permit. In most cases it falls within that time line, but sometimes it could be delayed for another 30-50 days.
