  • Green card for foster mom

I am in a unique situation and need some advice.

I am looking at sponsoring my foster mom for a green card (I am a US citizen). The challenge is that I was not legally adopted but raised by her since I was a kid. My biological parents are willing to help in any manner.

Any suggestions on how to go about this?

    Thanks,
    CP

    You can not do this.

You can only sponsor parents if:

Step parent: If the married one of your parents before you turned 18.
Adoptive parent: If the adoption took place before you turned 18.
    Biological parent: Anytime.

Sorry, but there is no immigration category for a foster parent.
