When is the good time to apply GC for my wife?

I became US citizen on Oct 2007. I am married to my wife on Nov. She came here in US with visitor's visa about 6 years ago and over stayed. I want to file green card for her. When is the good time to file I-130/485? Should I be concerned about the time lack between my citizenship, married date and application date? or it does not matter?

I am little confused with your answer. So you mean the time difference between my naturalization and marrige and application for AOS matters? If it does then how long should I wait? and why did you say "Now" is the good time to apply. My wife is having a baby in next few weeks, is it better to wait till the baby is out and have his birth certificate?

Apply after the baby is born. There is nothing you need to worry about. Her overstay will be forgiven.
