I must say that I feel for you guys. It must be frustating to see CSC approving november cases while VSC hasn't processed september ones.
Surprising part is that, CSC is no were closer to Nov. cases but they still approved mine and some others too. If same applies to VSC then some of you may receive approval sooner than later. Lets hope for the best.
I send I-130 for my wife back in July 2007. After numerous calls they told me they are asking for RFE and waiting for my response. I never got a letter for RFE. Anyway I asked them send the letter again. They did not tell me anything what they need. My questions is I got my citizenship Feb 2007. and I was married to USC so I gained all my immigrant rights through her. (got divorced in June 2006 because she cheated on me). If this is the case can they delay my wifes application. ? I just read, they might need evidence that prior marriage was real. But I sent all these when they remove my conditonal status and when I become a US citizen . ? or 5 year rule after become LPR or 2 years outside of the US.. I am really confused... I just want to be ready. This is really frustrating.
Congratulations to all who received approval letter
I am still waiting
But what is the next step after you received approval letter
Just wait until your spouse received something from them?
Thanks
frustrated_alot, you'll get yours soon. I think it depends on the officer who picks up the application.
Thanks. My history with USCIS has never been a pleasant and smooth one. It took 2 and half years and numerous amounts of letter to pull myself out of the namecheck black hole for my citizenship. I thought i had paid my dues to them. They always seem so mess over. Guess i am just being pessimistic because of what i went through before. I will try to be positive.

After I-130 approval, your case will be transferred to National Visa Center (NVC) at New Hampshire. It will take around 3 months there to complete the case and transfer to the foreign U.S consulate.
have you heard anything from NVC yet...please let me know
thanks
Nitshrut, have you received any word yet from NVC?
Also, have you heard that NVC will ask you to submit the beneficiary's ORIGINAL birth certificates, police clearance certificates, & marriage certificate along with the DS230 Parts I & II? I had thought these were to be submitted at the interview but I read on another forum that a person filing I-130 for their parents in India was requested these documents. How do you think we should proceed with this?
