Does the sponsoring USC spouse go for FP?

Hi,

I received a FP notice for my family based GC appl. I have 2 quick questions:
1. Is my USC spouse required to come along for FP?
2. FP appt notice, original passport and US Driver's license are the only things to carry along, right?
The questions might be a silly but I just want to make sure that we are doing it the right way.

1.- The USC is not required to attend.
2.- Passport and US DL (if he/she has one), plus the FP appointment notice.
