Online Updates and RFE

Hi,

I'm F1 holder, I got married few months ago and in November I applied for Adjustment of Status. I received the receipt within a couple weeks and I gave my biometrics on the 5th of January. I received a letter requesting me to send "initial evidence" , my Dr. forgot to include Vaccination records with his medical report. I sent the initial evidence earlier this week.

I have 2 questions,

- Why does my status on uscis.gov still say "case received and pending", and it has last been updated in 12/11/07 ?

- How long does it usually take for the EAD to be approved after I send initial evidence?

1.- it is the standard message, it should change to "evidence received and case resumed" soon.

2.- it is impossible to predict.

Hi,

My status online has been updated as "evidence received and case resumed" or something like that for the i485, but nothing yet for EAD and AP.

I will post when something new happens.

EAD and AP, are independent of your I-485.

I submitted AP, EAD and I485 together but each has a different receipt #.

Just an update,

Today I received the interview notice. The RFE didn't seem to delay the I485. Interview date is March 31.

The latest,

Yesterday I received an email from uscis telling me that EAD card production has been ordered.

it has been since Dec 11, so I'd say 60 some days
