  • H1 and family based green card

I would be thankful if anyone could answer my queries.

I have been called for intial interview with my spouse for my adjusment of status for permanent residency. What does this intial interview mean, does it mean that I will have more than one interviews. Is it addresses the same way for everybody.

Also when I last entered united states, I came on legal H1 visa. got married here in USA and applied for permanent resident card. I stopped working after that. Will the interviewer ask me to show any recent pay stubs.

If anyone could tell me what kind of questions they ask at the interview. It would be great help.

It is usually one interview, unless you fail to convince the examiner that you are a real couple. Here is some sample questions: https://www.immihelp.com/family-base...interview.html

      Hello,

Thanks for the answer. I am wondering if addressing the document as "initial interview" is the standard format. Also apart from the marriage I would like to know else do they check for the beneficiary.
